Strange artist study

Looking through books in the library I found a a book about a very unique artist group. The title is “An Artist With 6 Legs” by Yuko Hasegawa and the artist group discussed is named superflex but every time it shows up in the introduction it is crossed out, not by someone but just printed that way. The group calls their pieces “tools” implying their art is made to serve a purpose. The subjects in their works tend to portray very radical/controversial subject matter. They seem to be the type of artist who like to draw both positive and negative attention to their work in an attempt to make people think on why they feel they way they do when viewing it. The kind of subject matter reminds me of similar topics to Banksy.
